Poppy Prints
Creating flower prints using fingers and/or potatoes.
Materials:
- Paper
- Red paint
- Black paint
- Green or Black marker pen
(optional)
- Small potato (cut in half)
- Poppy seeds
- Glue
Method
1. Print two red horizontal thumbprints, one below the other
and repeat all over the paper.
2. With your little finger, add black centres to the poppies.
3. When the poppies are dry, draw on the stems
Optional Ideas
4. Slice a small potato in half, cover the cut-side in red paint
and stamp two potato prints overlapping each other.
5. Once the potato print is dry, add a dab of glue to the
centre and sprinkle over a pinch of poppy seeds.
Display your poppy prints!
